Senior Angular Developer

The position

Netwealth is looking for Senior Angular Developers to join our team and help us continue the innovation on our website and mobile app.

You'll be involved in all aspects of our software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, planning, design, coding and testing.

Who should apply for this position?

You are ready to make the move to a senior role having been battle-tested by building web applications in your previous positions, or are already a senior developer looking for a change of environment. You want to mentor other team members and have the wisdom to make the larger technical implementation decisions. You want to be challenged with hard, complex problems that require dedication, wit and perseverance to solve.

Why this role is important

We've spent the past 5 years meticulously building an incredible development team - developers, product designers and testers. We've invested in Angular as our frontend of choice and now we want to accelerate our development in this area. This includes starting a green-field Ionic project for our mobile app. A great user experience is crucial to our brand identity and we're looking for more creative developers to build on the great work we've already done.

What you will learn

You'll learn, and share, fresh ideas and techniques with other frontend developers. You'll also have the opportunity to skill-up on other areas of our technical stack including C# and cloud architecture patterns.

Skills and experience

Must haves

• Excellent knowledge and understand of advanced UI patterns using Angular
• Good numeracy skills
• Cross-functional teams experience
• Understanding of RxJs library and the Observer/Observable pattern
• CSS Experience using the Bootstrap framework
• Building clean HTML markup using Bootstrap components
• Good knowledge of using Git for source control
• Mentoring skills
• Have worked with Typescript before
• Knowledge of how to apply web application best practices

Nice to haves

• Ionic
• Financial or investment software development
• C# experience
• Worked with Visual Studio Code tooling
• Experience with the NgRx framework
• Worked in an Agile environment using the SCRUM process
