Senior C# Azure Developer

The position

Netwealth is looking for Senior C# Azure Developers to join our teams, share their knowledge and experience, and continue to drive adoption of great patterns & practices.

Reporting to the VP Engineering, you'll be involved in all aspects of our software development lifecycle. These include, but are not limited to, requirements gathering, planning, design, coding and testing. You'll also take a key role in adopting and implementing standards, and patterns & practices.

Who should apply for this position?

You've been "living" cloud development for at least 5 years, and have built considerable specific knowledge in this area. You not only make a great team mate, but have developed the ability to lead others around you, and not just technically. Note: we're not looking for "commanders". We're looking for engineers who have build great knowledge and experience, but have retained the humility to be challenged by, and learn from, others.

Why this role is important

We've spent the past 5 years meticulously building an incredible development team - developers, product designers and testers. We've invested in Azure as our cloud platform provider and now we want to further expand our development in this area. This includes serverless, Durable Functions and microservices. Security, accuracy and availability are crucial to our brand identity and we're looking for more creative developers to build on the great work we've already done.

What you will learn

You'll learn, and share, fresh ideas and techniques with other C# developers. You'll also have the opportunity to skill-up on other areas of our technical stack including Angular and Ionic.

Skills and experience

Must haves

• Have been using C# and Azure to create applications for at least 5 years
• A good understanding of common backend design patterns (including SOLID)
• Dependency Injection and IoC
• Good numeracy skills
• Analytical problem solving
• Cross-functional teams experience
• Good knowledge of using Git for source control
• Knowledge of how to apply web application best practices
• Worked in an Agile environment using the SCRUM process
